"ughhhh", followed by "ahhhhhh"

Well...this coming week is finals week at the college where I teach, so I'm bogged down with grading papers, making tests, and all the rest of the boring stuff that goes with finals week. But, at the end of the week, I'm heading up to Canada to be with my honey....so it'll all be worth it, to have a week of peace and quiet and, as he calls it, "ahhhhhhhhhhh time" ;-)

But, I'll be back in a couple weeks....and then I've got a new gig .... Wiley has hired me to do some technical editing for some of their books, until they figure out what book they want me to write next. I'm looking forward to that. I think technical editors are really important ... I know my own tech ed, Kathy, found a lot of places in my own book where my explanations needed some clarification ... she also caught me every time I said "cell B4" when it should have been "cell C4".
