sorry...I'm just testing the "Blog This" link on the Google Toolbar to see if it works. This is my website (as if you didn't know that)

Avi questions I'm seeing a lot lately

Been spending a couple hours cruising thru the tech forums and I see that lots of people are having problems with avi files. One, they can't get media player to play them; and two, Windows XP won't let them delete them.

So, here's two helpful links for you:

Most of the time, if you can't get media player to play something, it's cuz you don't have the right codecs installed. Now, I don't know much about this mutltimedia stuff, so I like to do this the easy way. Here's a place where you can download "The Codecs", double click this file and it installs just about every codec you will ever need.

And, if you decide you want to get rid of an avi file and Windows XP won't let you delete it (tells you it's in use, or says "access denied"), Vic Ferri wrote an article for my ezine that tells how to fix this. Check this out (excuse the colors..it was my holiday issue LOL):

Hope you all are well
